William ""Bill"" Montgomery
William D. Montgomery “Bill” 80 of Gibsonton, FL passed away Saturday, August 5, 2017. He was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church. Bill served Honorably in the US Navy aboard the USS Dixie during the Korean War. He retired as a man of many talents, most notably as an avid fisherman who Captained his own charter boat which sailed Lake Erie. Survivor include his beloved Dolores of 58 years; daughters Donna(Jim) Garaja, and Lisa(Steve) Bernadowicz; son William(Teresa) Montgomery; sisters Esther(Jerry) Corbett, and Nancy(Frank) DeCarlo; brother Walter(Arlone) Montgomery; brothers-In-Law Joseph(Roxye) Cieply, and James(Barbara) Cielpy; nine grandchildren, Jessica, Michael, Bradley, Zachery, James, and Jennifer; five great grandchildren Hannah, Abigail, Lorelai, James, III, and Logan; many nieces and nephews. Bill was loved by many, and will always be in our hearts.
